Application: It is sweetener in sugar free chewing gum. It is used in chocolate, coat of ice cream and sugar. Low calorie sweeteners; Gum and candy anti-sticking agent; Nutritional supplements and tissue conditioner; Moisturizing factor. Use:1. The EEC regulations shall not be used as an infant special fortified foods. Can be used for candy, ice cream and gum. 2. The FDA (21 CFR § 180.25) : mint 98%; Hard candy 5%; Cough drop 5%; Gum 31%; Fudge 40%; Preserves and frost 8%; Not standardized jams and jellies 15%; Other food 2.5%. 3. In Japan, rules only allowed for gum and anti-sticking of caramel class products.
